Gender-sensitive language
Among the editors and also among the authors, there were different opinions on how gender references should be handled in the commentary. We ultimately decided to refrain from using special characters such as asterisks or colons or even the capital I. We take into account the need to make it clear in the text that different genders are affected here by often using participle constructions and by formulating examples with different genders. Consistency was achieved by the editors according to these guidelines.
